Description

This is the final design subject in the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Honours) (C09079). In this subject students independently develop a research project exploring a topic developed in the prerequisite subject 11565 Thesis Research. Students undertake a research-intensive design studio project, demonstrating advanced ability to autonomously create critical and reflective research outputs at a professional level.

In conjunction with the 11187 Landscape Architecture Honours Thesis Project, this student-led final design studio project is developed to an honours level that is documented as a series of research outcomes and findings through presentation and exhibitions as well as contributing to the written thesis in 11187. The emphasis is on the student's independent scholarly advancement through a supervisory framework of one primary and one secondary supervisor.
