Description

This design studio offers students in the final year of the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (C10341) or Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Honours) (C09079) the opportunity to hone their design, graphical and communication skills through an intensive design project at honours level. In this subject students exercise greater self-direction and demonstrate coherent and advanced theoretical and technical knowledge in the field of landscape architecture, demonstrating advanced cognitive, technical and communication skills to select methods and technologies and apply them to:

  • critically analyse, evaluate and transform information to complete a range of complex design challenges across several scales
  • collate, analyse, generate and communicate knowledge, skills and ideas as finessed and resolved solutions to complex problems, and
  • act at all times as an engaged, professional, organised, communicative and capable landscape architect (in training).
