Description

This is an advanced research subject which explores a range of paradigms, methods, and procedures appropriate for disciplinary and interdisciplinary-based research investigations. Students are supported and coached to develop the research question(s) to guide their project. It is expected that students commence the work of locating and reviewing relevant research and literature for their project. They learn to wrestle with competing ontological and epistemological perspectives and learn how to map out their fieldwork and determine which research methods to deploy.
