Postgraduate

Description

Students pursue in depth a chosen topic relating to their area of interest. Building on what they have learned in prior subjects, students define their focus for this subject, and design and carry out a personalised course of study. This may involve a small field-based project, an in-depth review of literature or potentially joining existing research projects at UTS. Students receive guidance in pursuing independent study through face-to-face blocks and online support from the lecturer and peers working in similar areas. Students are encouraged to use professional learning networks and make contact with academics working in relevant fields to enhance their work.

Typical availability
